Dormitories / Student Residences

CTU has many dormitories all over the Prague. The International students live in Masarykova, Sinkuleho or Strahov dormitory, few internationals even in smaller dorms Dejvicka, Orlík or Podolí.

Masarykova dormitory is renovated building within the main campus complex in Dejvice. One of the two International Students Centres is located here. Used to be the "main" international students' dorm but nowadays more internationals live in Strahov.

Sinkuleho dormitory it another dorm within the main campus. The building is just accross the street from Rectorate, where the CTU International office is situated.

Strahov dormitories are the largest dormitories of CTU. The entire complex consists of 12 blocks. Some international students live in the block 8, which is the best dorm at Strahov, but with increasing numbers of internationals every semester some of them live in other blocks as well. These might be a bit shock for students from western countries but at least you go through the "true Strahov atmosphere" ;-)
The dormitories are situated in a luxury location thought, on the hill close to Petrin tower and Prague castle. It takes 10 min by bus to get to the main campus area.

All rooms at CTU dormitories are shared. So don´t try to ask about single rooms because we just don´t have them at all. If you don´t want to share a room you have to look for private accommodation.
