Are you coming to Prague to spend your study abroad at Czech Technical University?

Are you a bit afraid before coming to Prague since you don't know Czech language nor anyone in Prague?

International Student Club is introducing BUDDY PROGRAM to help you in the beginning of your stay at CTU.
 

Buddy Program 

helps you in the very begining of your stay at CTU,you will get your personal Buddy, a volunteering english (ora other language) speaking Czech student, who will help you with problems.
 

Buddy

is a Czech student who will assist you with your arrival, accommodation, basic orientation in the city and in school.

Buddies are volunteers, who want to improve their language skills, spend some time and have fun with international students. All of them speak English and some of them even other languages.

Your BUDDY will:

• contact you by e-mail a couple weeks before the semester starts
• pick you up at the airport, train or bus station and help you with the accommodation in the dormitory
• show you university campus and International office of CTU
• help you get your CTU student card and public transportation pass
• show you their favorite pub and teach you how to drink Czech beer :-)

How do I choose a BUDDY?

The Buddies are choosing YOU! That way, they can choose a student from particular country or university.

What can I do to get a Buddy?

We only need your CORRECT e-mail address.

That’s it!

We get your email address from our International Office,
if you had one in your official CTU application form and sent it on time, we HAVE IT. Check on our website whether the address is correct.

In case you didn’t fill in any e-mail address (to the application form) or your handwriting is poor or you haven’t sent your application on time, contact us at buddy@isc.cvut.cz.
